Now..on to something completely different...

Well the first full length Lonely Ghost Transmissions demo is done...I'm happy about that. Now I can put my attention to the upcoming recordings I'll be working on. I have 3 projects coming up..a split with my buddy Ron's band Signal. I do know that is going to be very interesting...hehe. The other ones are LGT releases. One will be a fully ambient album and the other will be more in the realm of Power Electronics. But you never know, my A.D.D is so bad i might just make a Progressive Trance album so who knows. I'll keep you all posted.

2. 21st Century MeatGrime: Your Hell Is My Paradise - 3:37

October Tide-Rain Without End

October Tides debut album "Rain Without End" is without a doubt the greatest doom-death metal album ever. October Tide started as a side project for Katatonia front man Jonas Renkse and guitarist Fredrik Normann when Katatonia temporary split up in 1997. October Tide was an continuation of the Doom-Death style Katatonia showcased on the albums For Funerals to Come, Brave Murder Day and Sounds of Decay, which Opeth's front man Mike Akerfeldt lent his vocals.

Rain Without End has been out of print for years now and I have seen this album sell for $150 and up on ebay. I traded 10 Albums to a guy from Malaysia for this disc which came in perfect condition. October Tide one more album before calling it quits in 1999 called Grey Dawn which recently had a re release in late 2007 from Peaceville. I searched high and low for both October Tide albums for years before finally getting them. I bought Grey Dawn while I was in Osaka Japan...thats right...I was in Osaka Japan when I bought it.

Rain Without End is one of the emotionally crushing albums I have ever heard and even if you don't like metal you should check it out anyway because it is worth the listen. Check out Katatonia as well you won't be disappointed.

Silent Hill 2 OST

Akira Yamoaka's soundtrack for the game Silent Hill 2 is one of the best soundtracks I have ever heard. A mixture of Dark ambiance and trip-hop overtones. A great night time album when you are by yourself feeding off the midnight oil or with that special someone lying in bed. Quite calming and unnerving at the same time. This is an excellent soundtrack for all the night owls out there.
