Akira Yamoaka's soundtrack for the game Silent Hill 2 is one of the best soundtracks I have ever heard. A mixture of Dark ambiance and trip-hop overtones. A great night time album when you are by yourself feeding off the midnight oil or with that special someone lying in bed. Quite calming and unnerving at the same time.
